GӨӨD BЦППY
We, the two hares, dancing in the navel, where the quaint hazel
fingerprints soften out the quits. We task ourselves to touch each
moment, a forehead kiss or holy coma, speaking with bottom lips clad
in handsome spit.
Lalling every sentence and smashing vases full of words, he catches
both our starkened limbs in the bedroom cage. A throat turns into
meat turns into a bear trap with stolen clocks, where we hemorrhage
from the same hot golden tendon.
Somewhere along the line, cooing our dainty teeth to trace, mothering
what ought not to be a savage animal, merging flesh and coats and
hipbones, and prancing shrieks of “no’s”, we, two good girls, become
one under the roof.
