Michaella Sangiolo
turn me on
i mean for work
flick red go button
plastic tongue
i was eating
jell-o and oatmeal
when they let me go
corporate plank walk in
thrifted loafers
designed to make my ankles baby
break
for the bosses, liability
in white socks
i thought being grown up
meant getting laid
all the time
instead it means
proximity to evil
plastic cuts
off the rim of
a twenty dollar salad
the steams of a gaze
up the back of a pair
of legs
blood never red (real)
until it hits the air
i know blood is made of cells
floating in darkness
and the cells have
little personalities
little jobs
a corporation
oxidizing
pumping towards
oblivion
all offices could be porn sets
i listen to my music
behind a shiny desk
it’s easy to imagine i’m the same
as a lamp
or a door stop
cunt out
on top
of the shiny desk
one of those
nice girls
suspended in
lime green jell-o
one of those
girls
that get paid
to lie down
and be eaten off of
flesh on flesh on flesh
like in the movies
my job is
availability telegraphed
by the symmetry of
parting appendages
ready to receive
information
mostly though
my job is receipts
which are like
blood oaths across
a line of
credit
the data here
is pure sugar
pure oracle
the rounds and rounds and rounds
of drinks
2AM doordash orders
i love
the nakedness of these men
their paper slip (ups)
there are lots of words
for god
capital
daddy
saturn
is
a hole
in the universe
a paper cut
slashed across
my finger prints
a kiss between objects
an exchange of dna
and then everything
begins again as
alpha deployed across
several diverse vehicles
