Born in 2000 and graduated from the University of Leeds in 2022 with a Master's degree in English Literature, Sarah Ione Calcraft is a multidisciplinary artist and writer based in London whose poetry practice focuses on showcasing the hidden beauty and tragedy hidden within nostalgic aesthetics, particularly that of the 2000s and early 2010s.

Harnessing the power of poetry to process the indecipherable enemy of grief and express the ecstasy of adolescence, her work consists of a mixture of carefully optimistic visions of domesticity with the persistent absurdity that manifests itself throughout the human condition. Engaging with themes of complex trauma, memory, and the circular passage of time, her other disciplines include fashion styling and modelling, creative direction, animation, and image curation. She is exploring both digital and material art mediums alongside her poetry practice, fashion career and volunteer work in local libraries.
