Sick of staring at your notes app waiting for a fab idea to hit u? Is ur laptop full of half-started word docs, thousands of tabs of random images and other unused inspo?

Hey, me too.

Taking a Lana Del Rey-oriented approach, Dream Boy Book Club’s upcoming workshop primarily focuses on writing new poems and stories through experiments and experiential writing activities. Each week we will try out a new approach to generating texts, share our work with each other, and give supportive but actionable feedback.

We’ll talk about writers’ block and imposter syndrome. We’ll outline editing strategies and publishing possibilities. I’ll make dumb ass jokes.

When: Sundays in April (4/5, 4/12, 4/19, 4/26). 7-8:30pm ET (6-7:30pm CT, 4-5:30pm PT).

Where: on zoom.

Who: all workshops are facilitated by Jonathan Blake Fostar, editor-in-chief / publisher of dream boy book club, and professor in the Department of Writing, Rhetoric and Discourse at DePaul University.
