A CREATIVE WRITING WORKSHOP

Next month our most popular introductory workshop returns. Open to writers of all genres and experience levels.

Whether you’re trying to build momentum with an ongoing project, or struggling with starting something new, this course aims to combat writers’ block and motherfucking imposter syndrome through generative activities and supportive + actionable feedback from a cohort of sensitive baddies, cool babes, and fun hunks.

Each week we’ll open with a guided discussion of some element of the writing process, from coming up with new ideas to pathways to publication and everything in between. Then, we’ll workshop student work and provide the author feedback to support their development going forward.

What: four 2hr. online workshop sessions. All participants will also receive detailed written feedback from the instructor on up to 10 pages of work + an optional add-on for a 1hr. individual consultation on zoom.

When: Sundays from March 8-29th (3/8, 3/15, 3/22, 3/29). 7-9pm ET (6-8pm CT, 4-6pm PT).

Where: on zoom.

Who: this workshop is facilitated by Jonathan Blake Fostar, editor-in-chief / publisher of dream boy book club, and professor in the Department of Writing, Rhetoric and Discourse at DePaul University.

How: enroll by filling out the form below. You’ll receive a followup email upon acceptance to the course. The total cost of this workshop is $199. Payment plans are available. The optional individual consultation is available for an additional fee of $50.

This class will fill up fast, and your spot is not reserved until payment is received. Cancellations will receive a 50% refund only if requested before March 1st.
