POETRY FOR PILLOW PRINCESSES
a creative writing workshop for the terminally online

November 11 – December 2

On Zoom

NEVER LEAVE BED AGAIN!!

𝒫𝑜𝑒𝓉𝓇𝓎 (ᴀɴᴅ ᴘʀᴏꜱᴇ) 𝒻𝑜𝓇 𝒫𝒾𝓁𝓁𝑜𝓌 𝒫𝓇𝒾𝓃𝒸𝑒𝓈𝓈𝑒𝓈 is a creative writing workshop for sleepy heads, casual flakes, fairy princess bottoms, lazy boneses, and the terminally online.

Are you sick of writing instructors telling you to be more ‘rigorous’? Are you tired of try hards droning on and on about the value of ‘hard work’? Are you bored of your besties bragging about their ‘dedication to their craft’? Don’t you just want to lay back, close your eyes, and be a poet or a novelist or whatever? This is the writing workshop for you.

Each week we’ll meet to generate new poems / stories / essays / whatevers through writing activities catering to the comfort of never leaving your house. We’ll read each other’s work, and give supportive and actionable feedback as a group.

Writers of all genres and stages of career welcome!!

Let’s make doomscrolling a part of our regular writing practice. Let’s pretend our collective not-being-able-to-get-out-of-bed is on purpose.

This is not a trad workshop exactly. We’re going to lean in to fucking up. This is pretty much a month long literary slumber party.

DOCUMENT YOUR DECLINE!!

For a limited time only (and as scheduling allows), we’re also offering an individual 1-to-1 consultation as an add-on service.* Send in up to 20 pages of your poetry or prose, or an excerpt from a longer manuscript, and we’ll sit down for a 1hr zoom session to discuss editorial notes, brainstorm ideas for further development, and discuss future goals and publishing strategies.

STOP ROTTING, START WRITING!!

WHEN? 8-10pm ET (7-9pm CT, 5-7pm PT) on Tuesdays between November 11 – December 2 (11/11, 11/18, 11/25, 12/2).
